Evening Position:
Oversee aspects of care in accordance with physician's orders, resident, and family needs.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Coach & lead those staff members reporting to LPN - work as one 'Team' to keep things running smoothly.
Responsible for dispensing medications to residents.
Charting & paperwork - Ensures all reporting requirements are met and completes all required paperwork, i.
e.
infection control, accident/incident reports, etc.
Sterile technique / aseptic technique.
Skin assessment, decubitus care, dressings / irrigations, catheterization, topical applications.
Basic Duties &
Responsibilities:
Assists with issues that arise while on duty.
Assist with wing staff evaluations.
Assist with physician orders.
Working with residents and staff.
All other duties as assigned.
Education Required:
LPN license Experience Required:
Dispensing meds and medical aspects.
Previous long-term care or home care experience preferred.
Hazards:
Exposure to the following may be present in this position:
Blood-borne pathogens and infectious body fluids/waste Needles Combative residents Disinfectants and cleaners Equipment Used:
Oxygen equipment, suction machine, Keofeed pumps, Hoyer lifts, and all other generally required nursing equipment.
Computer, photocopier, fax machine, and general office equipment.
Working Conditions:
Travel may be required.
Every-other weekend required, and holidays may be required as needed.
May be required to work past regular shift, or off-shifts as necessary.
Working conditions for this position may include the following:
inside, odors, adequate lighting, working with/around others, working alone.
Physical Demands:
Some heavy lifting required at times:
o 20 lbs, @ 5% of time.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
