We are seeking someone confident in their knowledge and execution of electronic diagnostics and repairs.
This individual will work with key stakeholders such as Customers (troubleshoot & repair legacy equipment), Production/Assembly (set up, test & analyze performance of final product prior to shipping, and Engineering (review & test developing equipment to identify & communicate any necessary revisions).
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Powers up and troubleshoots new machines in preparation for final testing.
Machine setup and final testing for equipment prior to shipping.
Electronics repairs of items found to be defective from both in-house failures and customer returns.
Customer support, including telephone, email correspondence and possible occasional onsite visits.
Modify, configure and test computers, electrical components and subassemblies prior to entering into stock.
Qualifications:
Associate degree (A.
S.
) in electronics or equivalent training is preferred and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Blueprint & Schematic reading (
engineering instructions & technical manuals) Troubleshooting, Repairing & Maintaining Electronic Equipment (including circuit board repairs) Working with computers (including ERP software, Microsoft/Outlook) Use of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates and Soldering Initiative, critical & analytical thinking Process & Procedure Documentation Experience working with high and low voltage We Offer:
